Tree of Life is part of Maren Brown’s Tribute series, a deeply personal collection that chronicles her journey through loss and renewal after the deaths of her mother and spouse, culminating in her experience of finding love again. This painting, created using the traditional egg tempera technique, involves applying fine, deliberate brushstrokes of ground pigment, egg yolk, and water onto a prepared wooden surface.
